Seed GiveawayJust popping in to announce that I received a lovely surprise in the mail the other day. Daniel, over at Your Small Kitchen Garden, held a seed giveaway on his blog in February. My humble request for Paste Tomato seeds was granted, and I’m now the proud owner of 3 new seed varieties: Paste Tomatoes, Neck Pumpkins, and Blue Hubbard Squash. Thanks, Daniel!

I have a while yet until it’s time to plant squash, but the tomato seeds are going into starters pronto. I’m dreaming of canning huge batches of tomato sauce, but we’ll see how the yield goes this year. That reminds me, Daniel is also the author of a soon-to-be-released book called¬†Yes, You Can! And Freeze and Dry It, Too: The Modern Step-By-Step Guide to Preserving Food. Looks right up my alley!
